MISSION CRITICAL SPECIAL TEAMS COMMUNICATIONS
The REDLINE Search and Rescue Communications System was built in cooperation with members of the fire- based SAR community. The REDLINE System is a cross-pollination of our industry-leading military communications technology with the ruggedization to withstand the harsh environments our Special Operations First Responders are often subjected to.
The system consists of the REDLINE Liberator IV Headset and your choice of push-to-talk (PTT) device. The REDLINE headset can be worn either in the behind the head configuration for wear under a helmet, attached to a tactical helmet rail system, or configured with our over-the-head suspension for a traditional headset fit. The most common PTT option for ground-based operations is the Fire Speaker Mic (FSM) based on it’s multi- functionality. Other popular push-to-talk options include the Alpha PTT (A-PTT), Tactical Speaker Mic (TSM) or Hazmat PTT (HM-PTT).
For Surface Water Operation (SWO) teams, the A-PTT is the most popular based on its over-molded sealed design and ability to adjust radio volume on the PTT body. For the HART community, we have built a custom submersible system, designed to be used with both AC ICS and portable radios.
The noise cancelling technology in our REDLINE Headset boom mic ensures that critical communications are heard the first time regardless of how noisy, wet or muddy the environment may be. This provides the operator with the tactical advantage needed to clearly transmit and receive messages, in order to accomplish their tasks safely and effectively.
